Your California Privacy Right
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information. This page explains what those terms mean at Cheap Discount Printing and how to exercise your right.
What "Sale" and "Sharing" Mean
Under California law, "sale" means disclosing personal information to a third party for money or other valuable consideration. "Sharing" means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not money changes hands.
Some website analytics and advertising cookies can qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" under this broad definition, even when we receive no payment. Your opt-out choice below controls those cookies.
Do We Sell or Share Your Information?
We do not sell your personal information or your design files for money. We never sell or share the artwork you upload. We use only the data needed to produce and deliver your order and to run our site.
To the extent that certain analytics or advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, you can turn them off using the controls below, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out request.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information in two ways:
1. Cookie preferences — Open "Cookie settings" in the site footer (or "Customize" on the cookie notice) and turn off the Analytics and Marketing categories, then save. This stops the cookies that can qualify as a sale or sharing.
2. Global Privacy Control — Enable GPC in a supported browser or extension. We treat a GPC signal as a valid request to opt out and apply it automatically.
You do not need an account to opt out, and opting out will not change your prices or the service you receive.
Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information
We collect only the personal information needed to fulfill your order and run your account. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a separate "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" right beyond the standard service you request.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of your written permission and may ask you to verify your own identity directly. Send agent requests to support@cheapdiscountprinting.com.
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your California privacy rights. Your prices, product access, and service quality stay the same whether or not you opt out.
How We Verify and Respond
For an opt-out of sale or sharing, we do not require you to verify your identity — we act on the request itself. For requests submitted by email, we confirm receipt and apply your choice, typically within 15 business days. If we need more information to locate your data, we will contact you.
