Avoiding Common File Issues
The number one cause of order delays is incorrect file setup. Before you upload, verify three things: your file is in CMYK color mode (not RGB), your images are 300 DPI at final print size, and you have included 0.125-inch bleed if your design goes to the edge. Our free prepress review catches issues, but getting it right upfront means faster production. PDF is the safest format. It preserves fonts, colors, and layout exactly as you designed them. If you do not have design software, our free templates on the Design Templates page are pre-configured with correct bleed, safety margins, and CMYK color mode.
